About our Studio

Missing Die Studios began as a spark of creativity during an extraordinary time. In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, as  households around the world faced confinement and long days indoors, a dad and his two imaginative kids found a way to stay connected and entertained. What started as a simple idea to keep boredom at bay—a unique mobile word game—quickly evolved into something far more meaningful: a family-driven mission to create games that inspire joy and togetherness.

That first project taught them a lot about creativity, resilience, and the magic of working as a team. While its commercialization faced challenges, it was the springboard for something even greater. Fueled by their growing passion for game design, the trio turned their focus to a new vision. The family dove headfirst into their next idea: Pirate Party, a pirate-themed tabletop card game that’s already bringing laughter and adventure to game nights everywhere. Today, Missing Die Studios is dedicated to creating games that inspire connection, laughter, and creativity. 

Whether you’re diving into a board game adventure, shuffling the cards for a quick tabletop showdown, or swiping through a cleverly designed mobile game, our goal is to make every moment fun, engaging, and filled with discovery. Our team is passionate about reimagining what games can be. Each one of our creations combines simple yet strategic gameplay with rich themes and an emphasis on fun for players of all ages. From board games and card games that  bring people around the table to mobile games that entertain wherever you go, our projects are crafted to connect and delight. 

With the launch of our new card game, Pirate Party, we’re laying the foundation for what’s to come—an exciting pipeline of innovative game concepts that we’re eager to bring to life and share with you soon.
